Earth is the source of Ecosystems, both biotic and abiotic.

Famer's Pride International Investments (FPI-I), is a Hunter’s Global Network PTY LTD  Agriculture subsidiary working on the reactivation of the African agriculture sector through the implementation of a 9-year Rural and Urban Agriculture Innovative Production Program (RUAIPP) a cluster-based farming strategy which started in the year 2020 and will be implemented up to the year 2030.

FPI-I has operations in 45 countries with an Agriculture Research and Development (R & D) HQ in the USA, this growth has made it a global solution in the fight against Hunger and Poverty, SDG 1 & 2). Read more>>>>>>

 WORKING ON FOOD SYSTEMS TRANSFORMATION:

FPI-I believes that it has an African solution to a successful food system transformation, with the success of this solution depending on how millions of young people, smallholder farmers, and medium-sized agriculture enterprises are coordinated and involved in the reactivation of the agricultural activities that will help change farming practices in Africa as quickly and effectively as possible. For this to happen, agriculture in Africa needs critical enablers,  people who can take up the task to bring others into the sector, without this any agricultural transformation is likely to fail.

As a frontline “change agent” supports farming communities in modifying their farming practices, working with country change agents as critical enablers who coordinate their agriculture activities at different levels and stages in communities across Africa, Standing as a go-between to FPI-I and farming communities, these teams have emerged as the changemakers who influence transformation through the FPI-I Rural and Urban farming cluster activitiesOur vision and Mission implement a sociocultural approach, believing that day-to-day interaction with farming communities across the world will bring African Agriculture to life.

Building Export-Based Economies:

Agriculture is central to fostering economic growth, reducing poverty, and improving food security in Africa, but Governments should bear in mind that trade policies that act as barriers to imports directly reduce the competitiveness of a country's own agro-food exports by raising input costs.

Goal 2 of the 2030 Agenda sets out to “End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture”. As with other SDGs, realizing this goal will require a multifaceted approach. Ensuring that markets around the world have access to nutritious food requires international trade and cross-border cooperation. With climate change threatening the predictability of harvests and the sustainability of many regional crops, the importance of trade in food commodities may well increase rather than diminish.

FPI-I has developed a 9-year agriculture strategy that unbundles its Rural and Urban Agriculture Innovative Production program (RUAIPP) strategy focusing on rural and urban development agriculture and bringing youth and women's economic empowerment activities to life by promoting agrifood production. Operating in 45 countries, across 7 continents, FPI-I's strategy brings sustainable solutions to the global food shortages, by promoting agri-food production activities through its RUIAPP program, an African agribusiness model being implemented using a Cluster or block model of Farming, this model is a cheaper and more affordable means of farming that brings life to rural and urban Agriculture through the power of networking farming communities. Cluster farming uses fewer resources for a more significant yield and brings huge incomes at harvest to farming communities, with this model, setting up Knowledge-based Agriculture initiatives in the form of field and on-farm skills that stands as knowledge exchange schools, these are research-based scientific informed activities that bring agroecology systems to life in every rural and urban farming setup, Agroecology systems, a combination of new and traditional agriculture skills and integrates technologies, scientific, indigenous, and other kinds of approaches to inform evidence-based hunger and poverty alleviation solutions, as well as climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies that build sustainable food systems.

WHAT ARE FOOD SYSTEMS:

Food systems comprise a group of actors and interactions along the food value chain, from input supply and production of crops, livestock, fish, and other agricultural commodities to transportation, processing, retailing, wholesaling, and preparation of foods for consumption and disposal.

The FPI-I  program meets all those mentioned above which are  meant to economically empower the world's rural farming communities through skills and knowledge transfer sessions, and the implementation of self-help initiatives before it invests its financial resources into any communities across the world, these strategies build self-sustainable farming capacity, enhance production, teach after-harvesting handling methods, support processing of crops, and connects them to the world markets for exports, as well as share knowledge on how to manage, protect, and restores soil quality, to improve the world's food production in the face of climate shocks and stressors,  contributing to the fight against global poverty eradication

About us

FPI-I has grown from being a small youth farming group that formed itself into an Agriculture department in a Zimbabwean founded Community Based Organization called the New Hope Foundation Zimbabwe in the year 2000, https://newhopezimbabwetrust.wixsite.com/nhz-trust  and  later became an international NGO called New Hope Foundation Global Network https://nhfg-network.wixsite.com/nhfgn

The current big dream then come to life in the year 2010 when the Executive President and founder of FPI-I organized a skills and knowledge exchanges project between China and Zimbabwe dubbed the people to people skills and cultural exchange, this exchange was co-organized by China NGO Network for International Exchanges (CINIE), Beijing NGO Association for International Exchanges, Chinese Universities and other smaller Chinese NGOs who conducted a three days training of trainers workshop for 250 farmers from Zimbabwe's 10 provinces, the training included fieldwork as well as an HIV & AIDS awareness campaign amongst the farming communities.

In September 2015 the dream of making FPI-I a stand-alone organization came to life through its first pilot agriculture project in Eastern Cape, a province of the Republic of South Africa. In 2019, four years after its inception, FPI-I started agriculture projects in other countries as well as the exporting of its agro products to countries like China, the UK, France, and South America through free trade zones on the belt and Silk Road initiatives.

Today FPI-I has now grown from being a Zimbabwe-funded NGO to having a presence in 43 countries on 7 continents across the world and has moved its HQ to Botswana, with satellite HQs in the USA, the UK, Tanzania, and South Africa, this decision was taken in the year 2019, as it embarks on massive high-value crops farming activities' rollout across the world.

Our work is guided and informed by research and development, traditional skills, knowledge, and our beliefs and commitments to Rural Development, Urban and Peri-urban Farming  Economic Empowerment, Inclusivity,  Financial and material Accountability, Courage, and above all respect for people's rights, peace Harmonyand the value of cultural diversity.

Vision
PROGRAM

FPI-I's cluster-based farming strategy is an approach to agriculture that seeks to establish Agribusiness ventures in Africa by promoting agri-food production activities through the mobilization of farmers and non-farming communities to actively participate in learning how to use their soil, and management, skills, as well as production of Globally demanded high-value, cross-boarder value chain development crops, after-harvest handling, processing, domestic market distribution, and international exporting.

This will create jobs along the respective Agriculture Product value chains that will build sustainable family economies and stabilize national economies. For this to happen, people must be made aware of the economic benefits of agriculture, assist in starting backyard and rural farming projects that will make them realize its economic benefits, promote the growth of high-value globally demanded, value chain development crops, work on getting better yields for better incomes

The projects are done through self-help micro-financing initiatives, and venture capital investments, in which FPI-I will own 30% of each cluster/block farming project share for a period of 5 years, this will enhance massive crop production start-up of community processing projects, this arrangement is arrived at after two successive harvesting by a group of farming (Clusters).  After achieving its mission, FPI-I will then support the processing and exportation of all high-value globally demanded, cross-border, money-making by-products.
